1 Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Use are an agreement between PDF Scanner - Reader and you about your rights and our rights when you use our apps.

Please read carefully. By using our services, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree to all of them, you may not use our apps.

2 Update

We may change these terms from time to time. Substantial changes take effect when we update this page; continued use means you accept them. Minor fixes may not be announced separately — please review regularly.

We may also update the app for performance, features, OS changes, or security. If you skip updates, you may not be able to keep using the app.

3 Restrictions

Use the app in line with applicable laws and third-party rules (privacy, IP, content, and similar).

Unless we give written consent or these Terms allow it, you must not:

1. copy our apps except for normal use, backups, or operational security;
2. modify, translate, combine, or merge our app with other programs;
3. reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works, except where law allows;
4. sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the app or your rights;
5. remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or other notices or ads in the app;
6. frame, mirror, or embed the app in another service or site;
7. extract data/metadata or build an index/database from the app;
8. do anything that may damage our apps;
9. use our apps for harmful or illegal activity;
10. use our apps in any way not allowed by these Terms.

If you breach this, you will compensate us for resulting losses (including legal fees).

4 Intellectual Property

We and our licensors keep exclusive worldwide rights in our apps, content, and docs. Copyright, trademark, and other laws protect them. Do not use our IP with other products/services without written consent. Commercial copying, modification, or redistribution is not allowed.

5 Payment of the Subscription

Paid plans may be monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app. Benefits may include ad removal. Some plans (e.g. yearly) may include a free trial; after the trial you are charged unless you cancel in time.

Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage auto-renewal in your Google Play account settings.

Canceling does not refund the current period; access continues until it ends. Subscriptions are not transferable and work on Android only.

6 Termination

These Terms apply while you use the apps until ended under this section. We may suspend or terminate access immediately (including for breach). You can end them by stopping use and uninstalling. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 survive termination.

7 Liability

Our total liability for direct damages in any calendar year is capped at the greater of fees you paid us that year for the app, or USD 100.

The app is for personal, non-commercial use. For business/commercial use we are not liable for lost profits, interruption, or lost opportunity, or for commercial processing/distribution of content via PDF Scanner - Reader.

8 Privacy Policy

Protecting your data matters to us. A separate Privacy Policy applies (not part of these Terms). Please read it for how we handle your information.

9 Disclaimers and Warranties

Except as stated here, services and software are provided "AS-IS". We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty that:

Ads or other links may open third-party sites we do not control. They are for reference only. Their terms apply; linking is not an endorsement.

11 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
